This has instantly become one of my favorite/most exciting possessions. Life sucks so bad right now. For everyone, but in my case as an American (half Mexican) woman (actually am NB shh don't tell the fascists), my life and my dreaded future have become even more grim as of late. Trauma dumping in the review of a CIGGIE CASE FROM A SMALL BISUNESS is goofy but I'm excited and drunk as shit so go ahead and delete this if it's inappropriate.. but within just this year I've lost my bestie/sibling/soulmate, and my most favoritist cousin who unfortunately understood the unique grief of losing the bestie who you saw every day and became a natural/staple part if your family. I've been wasting money whenever I fucking felt like it since losing them because I'd rather collect trinkets than eight balls. But owning something tangible like this and being able to feel the creativity of the real human behind it's conception is so very special. No ethical consumption under capitalism yes and if I am following the trend of wealthy country's citizens making "fuck you" purchases because we want to be happy and we don't really have faith that there is a future to save or prepare for, but at the same time, I want you to be able to eat art that you've made has served to numb my pain. It's so very situational and to you it may seem small, but you affected me in a measurably positive way, and also FYI your artistic talent and skill, the moral compass that compells you to use quality materials and generate quality products rather than scamming bitches to increase your profit margin, and the benevolence behind producing charitable products is GENUINELY COMMENDABLE. Stranger, I am proud of you for being so human that you'd sacrifice making money, during a time of great uncertainty. Okay I admittedly don't know how to round this off and reintroduce the thesis statement that I don't remember. In summary, the meaning of life is to hang out, have fun, love and care for each other, Happy Pride Month, my mom was a Republican until being force fed videos of police brutality and hearing Trump's 'indecent' rhetoric in 2015. Even though she doesn't want to see any kissing or sex of any orientation because it ain't right, I showed her this and she said "cool. You bought that because Rocky is important to gay people, right? Or am I misunderstanding?" and it's awesome that I was able to have that convo with her.
